Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mr. Tanmay Kr. Ghosh, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has challenged the charge-sheet which has been submitted in connection with Uttarpara Police Station Case No.331 of 2022 under Sections 498A/406/506 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned advocate submits that the documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure are yet to be supplied to the petitioner. Having considered the submissions so advanced, I am of the opinion that the revisional application was preferred at a premature stage. Petitioner would be at liberty to file afresh after receipt of the documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure or approach this Court after taking out an application under Section 239 of the Code of Criminal Procedure before the

jurisdictional court and thereafter, if so advised, prefer the revisional application before this Court.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1121 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
