The petitioner is seeking interest on delayed payment of the principal amount on account of Revision of Pay and Allowance Rules, 1998 (in short "ROPA 1998"). However, there are certain inadvertent errors in the writ petition. The petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ petition and to file afresh on the selfsame ground. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition on the selfsame ground, if permissible in law.
