1. This revisional application seeks expeditious disposal of Title Suit No.159 of 1993 pending before the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 3rd Court at Barasat, North 24-Parganas.

2. It is submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner that the said suit is one for partition. It is further submitted that therein, an application for substitution has been filed as far as back on October 8, 2024 but the same is also yet to be disposed of.

3. In view of the nature of the order proposed to be passed, prior service of notice of the revisional application along with a notice is not being directed, however, the petitioner shall remain obliged to serve a copy of the revisional application along with a copy of this order upon the opposite parties within a week from date.

4. Having heard the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner and having considered the material on record, this revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Senior

Division), 3rd Court at Barasat to dispose of the pending application for substitution as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one month from the next date fixed.

5. The learned Trial Court is also requested to thereafter proceed with the suit expeditiously and dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from the date of disposal of the said application for substitution.

6. With the aforesaid observations, CO 1107 of 2026 stands disposed of. No costs.

7. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied as expeditiously as possible. (Om Narayan Rai, J.)
