Re : An application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Mr. Arijit Ganguly, Ms. Debjani Sahu ...for the State.
The revisional application has been preferred for expeditious disposal of Dum Dum P. S. Case no. 854 of 2019 dated 26.09.2019 under Sections 380/354/324/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr. Arijit Ganguly, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State is directed to represent the State in this matter. His appearance may be regularized by the concerned Authorities in due course. Having regard to the fact that the stage at which the petitioner approached this court was when the chargesheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court and the proceedings were at very nascent stage, I direct the learned Magistrate to take steps in the present criminal case so that dates are fixed at least once in every three months and the matter be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.
.
