...for respondent No.2 in WPA(P) 169 of 2022 WPA(P) 168 of 2022 In WPA(P) 168 of 2022 learned counsel appearing for the SLSA has informed that in respect of Moynaguri P.S. Case No.136 of 2022 compensation of Rs.2 lakhs has been awarded by the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, Jalpaiguri; in respect of Namkhana P.S. Case No.81 of 2022 Rs.3 lakhs has been awarded on 28.07.2022 as compensation in connection with victim Compensation Case No.72 of 2022; in respect of Shantineketan P.S. Case No.61 of 2022 a sum of Rs.5 lakhs has been awarded as compensation by the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, Birbhum; and in respect of Pingla P.S. Case No.114 of 2022 a sum of Rs.4 lakhs towards interim compensation has been awarded by the learned CJM, Paschim Medinipur. He has also informed that in respect of Netra P.S. Case No.197 of 2022 the compensation amount will be determined by the POCSO Court.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners fairly states that in respect of Moynaguri, Namkhana, Shantineketan and Pingla now nothing survives.

Hence, we dispose of WPA(P) 168 of 2022 accordingly.

WPA(P) 169 of 2022 Learned Advocate General has informed that a requisition of about Rs.17 crores was sent by WBSLSA out of which Rs.8 crores have been released on 27.07.2022 and on submission of 90% utilisation certificate, the remaining amount will also be released.

Learned counsel for the SLSA has informed that the amount, as released by the State, will be disbursed in order to priority as per the serial number of the pending cases.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in WPA(P) 169 of 2022 seeks time to argue the matter.
