1. None appears for the petitioner.

2. A Co-ordinate Bench on 29th August, 2022 directed that it should be informed whether victim has been paid compensation or not.

3. The matter was again listed before this court on 14th August, 2025. Learned counsel for the petitioner by referring to the said previous order informed that the only question which needs to be determined is whether the victim has actually received the compensation amount.

4. Mr. Nilotpal Chatterjee, learned counsel for the State by filing the report of respondent no.5 submits that the compensation amount has been transferred to the account of the victim. The report dated 9th September, 2025 is taken on record.

5. In view of this, nothing remains to be decided in this PIL.

6. The PIL stands disposed of.
