The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of Haripal Police Station and even after receiving the information dated 18.03.2025, no action has been taken by the police authorities.

State has submitted a report which reflects that the contents of the information so sent to the police station relate to an incident of 17.03.2025 and the police authorities on receipt of the information has already registered a case being Haripal Police Station Case No. 173 of 2025 dated 04.04.2025 under the relevant provisions of BNS. Having considered the steps taken by the police authorities, I am of the view that the purpose for which the writ petition was preferred has been subserved. The investigating agency will take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion. As

such, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

The writ petition being WPA 7331 of 2025 is, thus, disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
