Learned advocate for the State submits a status report filed by the I/C, Uttarpara P.S. on April 26, 2024 along with a copy of a judgment passed in G.R. Case No. 273 of 2017 on November 4, 2022 by which the petitioner has been acquitted from the offence punishable under sections 341/323/447/506 IPC and acquitted from the respective charges. The report filed by the State is taken on record. It appears from the revisional application that the petitioner had prayed for quashing of the proceeding initiated on G.R. Case No. 273 of 2017 arose out of Uttarpara P.S. Case No.

of dated 01.02.2027 under Sections 447/341/325/506/354/323 IPC.

After getting the order of acquittal from the above charges, this revisional application became infructuous. Considering the above facts in the light of changed circumstances, I think that this matter is deserved to be dismissed as infructuous.

Accordingly, the instant revisional application being CRR 998 of 2018 along with petition, if any, is dismissed as infructuous.

The interim order/orders passed if any, shall stands vacated.

Learned advocate for the state prays for a copy of this revisional application.

Department is directed to provide a xerox copy of revisional application to learned advocate for the State in compliance of the necessary formalities of the Rules.
