Mr. Karmakar, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the registered envelope addressed to the alleged contemnor returned with the endorsement "deceased".

He submits that he has received instruction from his client that the alleged contemnor passed away sometimes in the month of August, 2024.

He further submits that nothing survives in the contempt application in view of the death of the alleged contemnor.

Recording such submission, the contempt application stands disposed of.

The petitioner will be at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
