Mr. Rabindranath Mahato Mr. Aritra Shankar Ray ....for the Petitioner Mr. Srijan Nayak Mrs. Rituparna Maitra ....for the WBSEDCL The petitioner seeks refund and alleges excess payment made to the respondent WBSEDCL.

On behalf of the WBSEDCL, it is submitted that there are outstanding dues in excess of Rs. 47,00,000/- which have become due and payable by the petitioner and the petitioner has failed to make such payment. By a communication dated October 28, 2025 the petitioner had ventilated its grievance to the respondent WBSEDCL.

In view of the factual nature of disputes which arise for consideration, WPA 7703 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3 to positively consider and dispose of the representation dated October 28, 2025 within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of this order.

It is made clear that there has been no expression on the merits of the case and all issues are left open for the respondent no. 3 to decide in accordance with law (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J.)
