Ms. Roy Chaudhury, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, submits that after filing of the writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed. The grievance of the petitioner was in respect of payment of differential amount of the pensionary benefits that the petitioner was entitled to due to the promotion being granted to the petitioner vide promotion order dated January 29, 2016. The service book of the petitioner has been corrected and also the differential amount of the pensionary benefits have been calculated. She now prays for differential amount of the pensionary benefits to be disbursed.

In such view of the matter, let the respondent no.3/The Medical Superintendent-cum-Vice Principal, R.G. Kar Medical College or any authority delegated by him take necessary steps for intimating the respondent no.4/office of the Accountant General, West Bengal,

represented by Mr. Bhattacaryya, within one month from the date, the revised calculation for issuance of a revised pension payment order (PPO) with higher pensionary benefits.

After receipt of all the necessary documents from the employer/respondent no.3, the respondent no.4 will take steps to issue the revised PPO within one month of receipt of all the documents and release the revised pension in favour of the petitioner.

With the directions aforesaid, WPA 7462 of 2023 is disposed of.

Written instructions handed over on behalf of the petitioner is retained with the records.

Since no affidavits have been directed to file in the instant writ petition, all the allegations contained therein are deemed not to have been admitted by the parties. All parties shall act on the serve copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of all formalities.
