In Re: IA CAN 2 of 2023 This is an application for condonation of delay for about 70 days as pleaded in the application in filing restoration application of a writ petition which was dismissed on April 19, 2023 and the application for restoration was filed on June 23, 2023.

Mr. Raja Saha, learned advocate, appears for the petitioners.

Mr. Ranjan Saha, learned advocate, appears for the State.

Sufficient reason being shown as to why the marginal delay had occurred in applying for restoration. Substantial justice shall not suffer for procedural lapses.

The delay stands condoned.

Accordingly CAN 2 of 2023 stands allowed without any order as to costs.

In Re: CAN 1 of 2023 This is an application for restoration of a writ petition, which was dismissed on April 19, 2023. The application was taken out on June 23, 2023.

The delay has already been condoned in CAN 2 of 2023.

Sufficient cause being shown in the restoration application, the writ petition stands restored to its original file with number.

The order dated April 19, 2023 stands recalled. Accordingly, CAN 1 of 2023 stands allowed, without any order as to costs.
