1) Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2) Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that petitioner is being disturbed by private respondents in making construction which prompted the petitioner to approach this Court with the present writ petition seeking direction upon the concerned police authority which would ensure right of the petitioner over the land in question.

3) Learned advocates representing the State respondents and private respondents have jointly opposed this writ petition.

4) Learned advocate representing the private respondents has disputed the submission made on

behalf of the petitioner relating to petitioner's right over the land in question.

5) During course of hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that on similar issue previously petitioner filed another writ petition being WPA 25329 of 2025 (Monirul Islam Vs. The State of West Bengal & Ors.) which was disposed of by the coordinate Bench on 7th January, 2026. While disposing of said writ petition by order dated 7th January, 2026 coordinate Bench directed the police authority to keep strict vigil over the area to avoid any untoward incident and to maintain peace and tranquility. At the same time, it was observed by the coordinate Bench in said order that there is longstanding dispute between the petitioner and private respondents relating to land in question.

6) In view of the order passed by the coordinate Bench on 7th January, 2026 in writ petition being WPA 25329 of 2025, no further order need be passed on this writ petition.

7) Writ petition stands disposed of.

8) However, concerned police authority is directed to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale and keep vigil.

9) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
