1. By way of filing this public interest litigation the petitioner alleges that a crematorium ground is being established adjacent to the residential area.

2. Learned advocate appearing for the State on instruction submitted that the classification of the land in question in the revenue record is crematorium ground. If that be so, until and unless such classification is changed in the manner known to law, no writ of mandamus can be issued. Petitioner is at liberty to take steps for changing the classification of the land in question if so advised.

3. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is dismissed.
