The grievance of the petitioner is that while implementing Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana several persons who are entitled to the benefits have been excluded.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that these persons had submitted the representation to the Central Government and their details were forwarded to the competent authority of the State by various communications issued in the year 2018, 2019 and enclosed along with the writ petition and the Joint Secretary of the Government of West Bengal had also forwarded the applications to the District Magistrate, South 24-Parganas vide communication dated 20th March, 2019 and other separate communication, but till now the requisite decision to extend the benefit to these deprived beneficiaries has not been taken.

The respondent no.7 in the present case is the District Magistrate, South 24-Parganas and the learned

counsel for the State has fairly submitted that he has no objection if necessary direction is issued to the respondent no.7 to consider the petitioner's representation.

Hence, we permit the petitioner to file an appropriate representation enclosing therein all the documents which are filed along with the petition and any other relevant material before the respondent no.7 and the respondent no.7 on receipt of the same will duly conduct an enquiry and take a decision in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order along with the representation.
