The petitioners are the students of Abdul Saheb B. Ed. College in Murshidabad.

It is undisputed by the parties that there was no illegality in the admission of the students to the said College. The petitioners' names appeared in the merit list prepared by the University for the admission to the relevant College.

It is submitted by Mr. Amitabrata Ray, learned advocate appearing for the University that the failure of the College to deposit the fees collected from the students in due time before the University is the only fault in question.

Learned advocate representing the College submits that the College is willing to deposit the requisite fees through online by next Monday (03.04.2023).

In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the College to deposit requisite fees before the University through online mode by April 05, 2023. Once the fees are deposited, the University will grant the necessary registration of the petitioners and issue admit cards allowing the petitioners to appear in the examination scheduled to be held on April 17, 2023.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA 7474 of 2023 is disposed of.
