Both the petitioner and the opposite party have filed a joint petition for compromise stating, inter alia, that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled. Complaint Case No. CS 98311/2018 arises out of a Court complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act filed by the opposite party. However, the dispute between the parties has been settled on payment of the amount agreed by both the parties. The parties do not want to proceed with the above-mentioned complaint case. In view of such circumstances, further proceeding in CS 98311/2018 be quashed on compromise. The order of conviction and sentence be also quashed in view of the compromise between the parties. Let the petition of compromise made part of the order.
