Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the information which was furnished to the police authorities on 28.02.2025 was not acted upon by the Inspector-in-charge, Bagnan Police Station. State has submitted a report. Learned advocate for the State has drawn the attention to the contents of the information furnished on 28.02.2025 which relates to incidents of 18.10.2024.

Learned advocate by relying on the report drew the attention of the court in respect of Bagnan Police Station Case No. 613/2024 dated 05.11.2024 which was registered against the private respondents and others.

I find that the said case ended in a charge sheet wherein it is reflected that charges under section 126(2)/115(2)/117(2)/74/351(2)/3(5) of the

BNS has been incorporated and the accusations have been found to be true.

Having considered that the police authorities have taken appropriate steps on receipt of the information, I am of the view further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any act and action of the police authorities, petitioner would be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional court under section 193(9) of the BNSS.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 7311 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
