However, the petitioner prayed for de-freezing the salary account of the petitioner which was attached in connection with G.R. No.3164 of 2022 arising out of Chatterjeehat Police Station Case No.110 of 2022 dated 29.05.2022 under Sections 420/406 of the Indian Penal Code. The case is presently pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Howrah.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the investigation of the case has already been concluded and the charge-sheet has been submitted by the jurisdictional court. The report so submitted be kept with the record.

Having considered the fact that the salary account has been freezed by the investigating officer, I direct that the learned Magistrate, 4th Court at Howrah, to pass necessary instructions to the appropriate/concerned authorities for de-freezing the salary account of the present petitioner. If required, a report be called for

from the appropriate authorities within seven days and within a fortnight thereafter, the account which has been frozen pursuant to the direction of the investigating officer, should be de-freezed. With the aforesaid observation, CRR 1178 of 2024 is disposed of.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of the order.
