This revisional application has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of Matrimonial Suit No.1050 of 2019, pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 3rd Court at Howrah.

It is submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that cross-examination of P.W.1 is going on and the suit is at a very advanced stage. It is further prayed that the suit may be disposed of expeditiously.

Under such circumstances, this revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned court below to expedite the hearing of the matrimonial suit and dispose of the same expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the next date fixed without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case and the learned court below shall proceed independently and in accordance with law.

Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application along with a server copy of this order upon the opposite party within seven days.

The revisional application is disposed of.
