2022-06-13Hon'Ble Justice Rajasekhar Mantha2 pages

13-06-2022 ct no. 13 Sl. 23 sp WPA 6280 of 2019 Satyajit Ghosh -VersusThe State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. Syed Arif Ahmed ....for the petitioner Mr. Himadri Shekhar Chakraborty, Md. Mansoor Alam .......for the State The petitioner qualified in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) on September 14, 2015, and he secured 99 marks. The petitioner did not take any steps thereafter until the year 2018, when he addressed the communication to the Chairman of the School Service Commission on February 14, 2018, through his learned advocate.

This Court is of the view that the petitioner's representation is rather belated even considering the fact that the petitioner has secured 66% marks.

This Court is therefore of the view that the writ petition is barred by delay and latches and no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

Hence, WPA 6280 of 2019 is disposed of without any order.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
