Prosecution has examined three witnesses in course of the last schedule. In view of the aforesaid development and as petitioner was in-charge of the vehicle which was used to carry narcotics above commercial quantity, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and fix schedules at short intervals and conclude the proceeding as expeditiously as possible preferably within one year

from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. Parties shall communicate this order to the trial court for due compliance.
