NDPS Case no.24 of 2023, under Sections 21(C)/29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

And In the matter of : Saddam @ Md. Saddam Hussain ...... petitioner Mr. Amit Roy ....for the petitioner Mr. Manoranjan Mahata ....for the State Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

Neighbours stated that the petitioner was initially involved in cattle smuggling and presently involved in smuggling narcotics.

Neighbours saw the petitioner to be involved in such business.

Materials in the Case Diary implicate the petitioner with the commercial quantity of narcotics seized as also the person arrested with the commercial quantity of narcotics. In such circumstances, we are of the view that, petitioner is unable to overcome the restrictions under Section 37 of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985.

Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
