In Re: CRAN 2 of 2022 Learned advocate appearing for the CBI has prayed for condonation of delay in preferring the Special Leave to Appeal. The reasons so assigned in the application are delay due to departmental opinion of the file and the lockdown which was declared pursuant to COVID-19 pandemic.

Having regard to the reasons so assigned, the same is found to be just and sufficient. Accordingly, the delay so caused in preferring the Special Leave to Appeal is condoned. Thus, CRAN 2 of 2022 is allowed.

In Re: CRMSPL 23 of 2022 I have considered the application for Special Leave to Appeal and the grounds assigned therein, petitioner is granted leave to prefer the memorandum of appeal within a period of 30 days. Accordingly, CRMSPL 23 of 2022 is allowed.
