Despite service, none appears on behalf of the respondents. Affidavit-of-service is taken on record. The petitioner alleges that the respondent Nos.8 to 13 are Bangladeshi nationals and the respondent No.11 has been appointed as a constable in the Kolkata Police. If the petitioner approaches the Commissioner of the Police, Kolkata, with regard to the appointment of the respondent No.11, the authority shall dispose of the said complaint in accordance with law, upon making necessary enquiry and upon hearing all the parties including the respondent No.11. The decision shall be taken within three months.

With regard to the prayer for striking off the names of the respondent Nos.8 to 13 from the electoral roll, the Electoral

Registration Officer, Ranaghat Dakshin (SC) shall take steps in accordance with law, upon granting one last opportunity to all the parties to prove their identity. It appears from the record that there is already an order for deletion of some of the names. Thus, as the matter is pending since long, one last opportunity shall be given to all and necessary orders shall be passed and implemented. The evidence will be completed within four months.

The authority will act independently and without being influenced by this order.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

In view of disposal of the writ petition, the connected application has become infructuous and the same is disposed of accordingly.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
