It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that in respect of the very self-same premises or second electricity connection has been granted to the private respondent no. 6. It is also submitted that no permission of any kind whatsoever was taken prior to granting the fresh electricity connection. In this background, the petitioner has been compelled to file a representation dated 7th March, 2016, which is yet to be disposed of.

The private respondent no.

is represented and submits that all necessary formalities have been complied with prior to grant of electricity connection.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, WPA 4880 of 2016 along with connected interlocutory applications are disposed of by directing the General Manager (Commercial), Central Division, CESC Ltd. to consider and dispose of the representation dated 7th March, 2016 after giving a right of hearing to the petitioner as well as the any other private parties. This exercise is to be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

It is made clear that there has been no expression on the merits of the case and all issues are left open to be decided by the General Manager (Commercial), Central Division, CESC Ltd. strictly in accordance with law.
