The primary grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's absorption against the vacant post of Assistant Teacher (MR) of Howrah Vasha Bikash Kendra was not sanctioned by an order passed by the Governor notwithstanding the judgment and order dated 3rd April, 2023 direction the absorption of the petitioner in the post of Assistant Teacher (M.R.) 2.

During the pendency of the contempt application by an order dated 10th March, 2026, the Governor has been pleased to direct that the petitioner, the Assistant Teacher (MR) of Howrah Vasha Bikash Kendra, who had been working against supernumerary post of Assistant

CPAN 522 of 2024 Teacher (MR) shall continue her service against a clear vacancy of the Assistant Teacher (MR) created due to retirement of Smt. Malancha Mondal, with effect from 1st February, 2025 (F. N) till her retirement. The aforesaid order has been jointly placed by the parties. 3.

Having regard to the aforesaid disclosure and since, Mr. Galib, learned advocate representing the alleged contemnor/respondent nos. 1, 3 and 4, would submit that the petitioner shall duly be provided the yearwise accounts and/or pay scales within a period of seven working days from date, I am of the view that nothing survives in the contempt application and the same should be drawn to close.

Accordingly, taking note of the supplementary affidavit filed on behalf of the petitioner and the reply filed by the alleged contemnor/respondent no.4 to the supplementary affidavit, the contempt proceedings are dropped and the contempt application, being CPAN 522 of 2024 stands disposed of.
