1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this is a matter pertaining to illegal activities in the river Ganges/Bhagirathi located at Gayeshpur area with regard to unauthorized excavation of earth from the bank of the said river. A complaint was already lodged on 15th March, 2023 before the Government authorities, but till date such complaint has not been considered by the respondent authorities.

2. Since the petition was filed in the year 2023 and still if the grievance persists, the petitioner is at liberty to make a further comprehensive representation before the respondent no.3 . The respondent no.3 shall expeditiously consider the complaint, in accordance with law.

3. It is made clear that the court has not gone into the merits of the case.

4. Accordingly, the PIL stands disposed of.
