The petitioners complain that the private respondents are interfering with the peaceful possession of the petitioners and the police authorities on being informed, no steps are being taken. Learned advocate for the petitioners refers to the representation being made to the police authorities. However, the inconveniences faced by the petitioners continue.

State has submitted a report which reflects that police authorities drew up proceedings under Sections 107/116(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Records reflect that Inspector-inCharge, Narendrapur Police Station was informed on or about 21.01.2024. More than 14 months have passed since the information was furnished with

the police authorities. At the relevant time, steps were taken by the police authorities. However, if the petitioners till date continue to face inconveniences in respect of the interference and/or disturbance faced by them, they would file a fresh representation with the concerned Inspector-inCharge, Narendrapur Police Station who will take steps in accordance with law.

The police authorities would ensure that no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place at the locale and/or any untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 8050 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
