Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated. The petitioner was assisting the villagers in downloading gaming applications in their mobile phone. Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioner runs a business of a mobile shop. There, the petitioner collected identification papers of various persons and opened bank accounts in the Standard Chattered Bank in the name of such persons, without such persons knowing of the same. There are money transactions in such opened accounts. The petitioner is required for investigations.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 1834 of 2022, is rejected.
