This is a contempt application under the Contempt of Court's Act, 1971 filed by the petitioners on 10th May 2000.

The petitioners by filing the instant application, sought for punishment of the contemnors / respondents for allegedly violating the order dated 22nd June 1998 passed by a learned Single Bench in W.P. 9711 (W) of 1998. I find since, filing of the application, none moved on behalf of the petitioners.

I feel that the petitioners are no more interested to proceed with the contempt application on hand. Therefore, the contempt application is dismissed for non-appearance of the petitioners.

Let this contempt application along with the order passed today be tagged with the main file by the concerned department.
