1. Mr. Chattopadhyay, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the alleged contemnor/respondent by placing before this Court the communication dated 27th June, 2024 and the corrigendum dated 27th June, 2024 submits that in compliance with the direction passed by this Court on 17th October, the applicant/petitioner has been allowed post graduate scale of pay for obtaining M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the date of following the last examination of the post graduate course i.e. from 17th January, 2013.

2. Having regard to the aforesaid, I am of the view that there has been substantial compliance of the order dated 17th October, 2023 passed in WPA 20568 of 2021.

3. In view thereof, the contempt proceeding is dropped and the application, being CPAN 524 of 2024 is disposed of.

4. Let the copies of the communication and the corrigendum dated 27th June, 2024, be kept with the record.
