He submits he only verified documents relating to a portion of the loan. Co-accuseds are on bail. He prays for bail.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits petitioner is one of the employees of the bank. He in collusion with others had defalcated a sum of over Rs. 1crore. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is an employee of the bank. He played a role in the misappropriation of public money. Bail prayer of another employee of the bank has been turned down by this Court.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and the gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.
