The petitioner alleges inaction on the part of the Burdwan Police Station in respect of missing parts of his vehicle. The parts are stated to have gone missing while the vehicle was in the custody of the financer. There is no complaint addressed to the Burdwan Police Station.

After lodging of a formal complaint with the Burdwan Police, the petitioner's remedy is under Section 156(3) of the CrPC in case of inaction by the police. The petitioner may also avail civil remedies against the financier.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
