Victim recorded her statement under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. where she claims that subsequent to her marriage and after conversion of religion, she was repeatedly sexually assaulted. She conceived number of times and was forced to undergo abortion. Medical documents corroborate the claim of abortion.

Materials in the case diary require investigation. The petitioner stands implicated in the offence alleged. Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail will be inimical to such investigation.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

The application being CRM (A) 1004 of 2024 is dismissed.
