Learned counsel for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an accused in this case. The FIR was lodged on 17.06.2020 and charge-sheet has submitted on 14.08.2020. There are 12 witnesses cited in the charge-sheet. Charges have not been framed yet. The proceeding has not been concluded. Only one witness has been examined.

As the petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of a proceeding, no prejudice will be caused if an order is passed without directing the service of notice on the other side. It appears that one witness has already been examined in a proceeding started pursuant to a charge-sheet that was filed in 2020.

Let the trial court conclude the proceeding in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the revisional application is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities. ( Jay Sengupta, J. )
