The writ petition was preferred as there was a dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents over an issue relating to water body and adjacent properties.

There are allegations of dismantling trees at the behest of the private respondents.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Bhatar Police Station was aware regarding the nature of dispute existing between the petitioner and the private respondents. To that effect, several G.D. Entries have been recorded.

Be that as it may, since the nature of the offence relates to a civil dispute over property, the police authorities would only continue their surveillance and ensure that no untoward incident

results because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 8092 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
