It appears therefrom that demolition of the unauthorized construction in the second and third floors of the structure standing at 79/2/5, M.C. Ghosh Lane, Ward No.19, Howrah has been conducted.

The work of cleaning the debris is to continue. 4.

Learned advocate representing the applicant admits that the second and third floors of the building have been demolished.

As it appears that there is substantial compliance of the order passed by the Court, the contempt application stands dropped.

Direction for stoppage of salary of the Executive Engineer, Building Department, Assistant Engineer-inCharge of the Building Department and the Executive

Engineer of the Demolition Squad of the Howrah Municipal Corporation stands recalled.

Further steps to deal with the balance unauthorized construction, if any, may be taken by the authority strictly in accordance with law.
