1. The applicant has filed the present application praying for substitution of the original petitioner. He submits that the petitioner, Sumitra Panja has died on 11th September, 2024. The applicant is daughter of the complainant. The applicant intends to be substituted in place of her mother and the applicant has disclosed the death certificate of her mother.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials on record. The applicant, Rima Panja, daughter of Late

Kamal Panja is substituted in place of the petitioner. The department is directed to correct the cause title and to delete the name of original petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the application being CRAN 1 of 2024 is disposed of. In Re: CRR 1045 of 2002

Learned counsel for the substituted petitioner has handed over a communication dated 5th January, 2026 wherein the substituted petitioner has informed the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioner that the substituted petitioner is not intended to proceed with the present case. Learned counsel for the substituted petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present revisional application. The said communication be kept with the record.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the communication dated 5th January, 2026, CRR 1045 of 2002 is dismissed as withdrawn. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
