The petitioner is aggrieved that the Board has not granted recognition to its institution despite repeated request.

Learned counsel for the Board submits that the Board is sympathetic towards the case of the writ petitioners, but they are required to comply with the rules.

In these circumstances, this Court is of the view that the matter should be amicably resolved. There is a representation of the petitioners to the Board. The authorized representative of the petitioners along with their Secretary or Principal Officer, shall sit with the

Secretary of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education on 7th May, 2024 at 2 pm at the office of the Board. The petitioners shall produce all documents supporting their case for recognition. The Board shall consider the same and may request the petitioners to produce further documents, which the petitioners shall clarify and, if possible, comply with. If necessary, the petitioners and the Secretary of the Board may have another sitting thereafter within a period of one week. 4.

Let a decision be taken by the Board in accordance with the applicable rules within a period of two weeks after the sittings between the petitioners and the Secretary of the Board as indicated above. 5.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been called in the present writ petition, all allegations contained therein are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

There shall be no order as to costs.

8.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
