The police case is dated May 19, 2020. The anticipatory bail to the six other co-accused were granted on March 26, 2021. The petitioner waited more than a year subsequent to March 26, 2021 to file this application for anticipatory bail.

Considering the long absconsion of the petitioner, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. CRM (A) 1848 of 2022 is rejected (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.)
