The petitioner had submitted the online application in the relevant portal of the National Testing Agency, the respondent no. 4 herein to participate in the NEET UG Examination, 2025 and while uploading the said application, the petitioner had inadvertently uploaded the fingerprint of his sister, who also has applied to take the said examination. On detection of such mistake, the petitioner by an email dated February 10, 2025 had brought the said mistake to the notice of the respondent no. 4. The said respondent had replied to the said e-mail on February 15, 2025 advising the petitioner to wait for opening of the correction window to make the necessary correction in the particulars.

The petitioner is alleging that in the correction window, there is no option to upload his fingerprint. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is praying that he may be allowed to take the said examination on the scheduled date. Mr. Menon, learned advocate on behalf of the respondent no.4 submits that he has the instruction of his client that necessary steps would be taken enabling the petitioner to take up the said examination on the scheduled date. In view of such stand of the respondent no. 4, no further order(s) need be passed in the matter. W.P.A. 7584 of 2025 is disposed of with the above observation without any order as to costs.
