Petitioner is aggrieved regarding the investigation of Bijoyganj Bazar PS Case No. 22/25 dated 12.03.2025. As the said case was registered under section 137(2)/140(3)/3(5) of BNS, subsequently section 87/65(1) BNS was added along with section 6 of POCSO Act and sections 9/11 of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act. The minor girl happens to be 15 years however, she is pregnant for 4 months. There are certain other issues attached. Report also reflects that one of the accused is in custody.

Having considered the totality of the circumstances, I am of the view that police authorities have taken steps. Report also reflects that the Investigating Officer knows regarding the

victim minor girl being admitted in a hospital. If the defacto complainant/petitioner makes an application then in that case, the Investigating Officer would make arrangements so that the parents of the victim can meet the minor girl who is admitted at the hospital.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 7553 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept in a sealed cover.
