The writ petition pertains to transfer of the petitioner but from the submissions made on behalf of the learned advocates representing the parties, it appears that petitioner was appointed as an Assistant Teacher on being selected in 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 for Classes XI & XII. 3.

1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 for Classes XI & XII has been set aside by the Hon'ble Supreme Court vide judgment dated 3rd April, 2025 passed in civil appeal arising out of Special Leave Petition (Civil) No.9586 of 2024 [State of West Bengal vs.

Baishakhi Bhattacharyya (Chatterjee) and Ors.]. Therefore, no order need be passed on this writ petition.

The writ petition stands dismissed.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. 6.
