Abhijeet Das @ Abhijit Das
Versus
The State of West Bengal & Anr.
Mr. Amarta Ghose, Mr. Siddhartha Paul.
...for the petitioner.
Ms. Faria Hossain, Mr. Sandip Chakraborty.
...for the State.
Mr. Amarta Ghose, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner draws the attention of this Court to the order dated 10.04.2017 which reflects that the proceedings arising out of Lake Town Police Station Case No.42 of 2017 dated 04.03.2017 under Sections 498A/341 of the Indian Penal Code was quashed and the revisional application was disposed of.
In spite of the same, the Department has sent the records of this case.
Report has been submitted by Ms. Faria Hossain, learned advocate appearing for the State. Let the same be kept with the record.
As the proceedings are already quashed, no order need be passed any further.
Department is directed to be cautious in future before sending such records to Court.
Learned Registrar (Judicial Service), High Court, Calcutta
would take serious action against the departmental officials for sending such records and not segregating the disposed of matters in the department.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
