In view of the innocuous nature of the order proposed, prior service of notice on the opposite party is deemed unnecessary.

The petitioners are the plaintiffs in an eviction suit which has been kept pending since the year 2010, that is, over a period of about fourteen years. 3.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that, as on date, the evidence of PW1 is going on.

Upon perusing the materials-on-record and considering the inordinately long pendency of the suit, C.O. 989 of 2024 is disposed of by requesting the learned Judge Tenth Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta to dispose of Title Suit No.3631 of 2010 pending before the said court as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, preferably

within six months from the date of communication of this order to the said court.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
