1. When the Court posed a question to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner stating that the petitioner has suppressed the fact that a grant was released by the District Library Officer and the same was duly received by the petitioner, instead of responding the same the learned advocate for the petitioner has raised his voice. As per the written instruction given by the District Library Officer the grant had been released on 16.5.2023. A tabular form to the said effect has also been placed before this Court which the Court takes on record. Therefore the prayer sought for in the writ petition cannot be granted and it is for the petitioner to move the government for construction of library building at the cost of the government on the land gifted by the petitioner's father.

Admittedly, the application made by the petitioner which was

forwarded for construction of the nongovernment, non-sponsored private library and, therefore, the Court cannot compel the government to construct a library building.

2. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is dismissed.
