Banerjee Mr. Bahushan Mondal .....For the Petitioner Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner filed a complaint case on 4th October, 2008. Charges were framed only on 25th January, 2018. But, till date the proceeding could not be concluded. Only one witness out of a total of 12 has been examined ,that too in part. The next date of hearing is in May, 2025.

As a prayer has been made only for expeditious disposal of proceeding, no prejudice will be caused to anyone if an order is passed without service of notice on the other side.

This is an unfortunate case where there has been a delay of about 17 years and only one witness has been examined, that too in part.

In view of the above, let the Trial Court conclude the proceeding as expeditiously as possible and in accordance with law, preferably within 12 months from the next date of hearing.
