Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners challenged the continuance of Berhampore Police Station case no. 1363/21 wherein the investigating agency on conclusion of investigation submitted charge-sheet under Sections 498A/323/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submitted that the chargesheet as well as the documents which have been enclosed fails to make out any case.

I have considered the statements of the witnesses as well as the complaint which has been filed and there are specific materials appearing against the present petitioners so far as the charges for which they have been called upon to face the trail. Having considered the documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure which has been relied upon as well as the complaint, I am of the view that no interference can be made by this Court at this stage of the proceeding when the charges are yet to be framed.

Accordingly CRR 1215 of 2024 is dismissed.

Pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
