Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Victim is a six year old girl. She was subjected to penetrative sexual assault by the petitioner. It is contended there was prior enmity between the parties. But no contemporaneous report to appropriate authorities relating to prior quarrel is placed on record.

Under such circumstances and in view of gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 4.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
